What exactly is the GoldKit™?

The GoldKit™gold pack is our exclusively-designed mailing kit for sending yourscrap gold safely and securely through the US Mail. Each GoldKit™ is made of superior materials that have been proven to ensure the safe arrival of every item you send us.

Your GoldKit™ will contain the following:

Valued Customer Form—This pre-addressed, bar-coded form tells us where to send your check and provides you with useful information for tracking your goods.

Material Safety Bag—This 7.3" x 3.5" bag will safely hold your scrap gold, such as gold jewelry, gold coins, or even a gold tooth! Made of a thick (6 mil) but flexible polymer material, it’s tailored to hold a large number of items and is specifically-designed to safely transport scrap gold.

DuPont Tyvek Mailing Envelope—This sturdy, state-of-the-art mailing envelope is pre-addressed to use for transporting your Valued Customer Form and Material Safety Bag through the major mail carriers like the US Postal Service or UPS. Made of a material similar to that found in Federal Express Packs as well as other flexible and durable materials, its proven strength assures the protection of all your scrap gold items. Its uniquely-designed adhesive closure also seals the envelope completely shut, creating a puncture-, tear-, and moisture-resistant delivery package.

Is the GoldKit™ easy to use?

You bet! All you need to do is fill out the form, put your gold items in the bag, put the form and bag in the sturdy and secure Mailing Envelope and drop it in the mail. We’ve even prepaid the postage and self-insured the GoldKit™*, making the entire process a snap.
Will my GoldKit™ be insured once I mail it?

Absolutely. We’ve gone to great lengths to develop the most secure and comprehensive scrap gold mailing kit on the market today. So we’re secure in self-insuring the GoldKit™ during the time it is traveling through the US Mail and while it is in Lippincott’s custody. The insurance maximum per GoldKit™ is $100 as described in ourterms and conditions. If you believe your gold is worth more than $100, we recommend you insure your shipment for more at your own expense prior to entrusting it to the carrier of your choose.
